Music Memorabilia
Music memorabilia collectors would be hard-pressed to name a Beatles item more desirable than a signed version of the group’s groundbreaking first UK album. This cover of the British Parlophone Records edition of 1963’s Please Please Me has been signed by all four band members in large, bold script written in fountain pen. John, Paul, George and Ringo autographed the record sleeve for a fan during a 1964 appearance on the ABC TV variety show Big Night Out.

Space Exploration
During Apollo 11’s 1969 sojourn on the moon, astronaut Buzz Aldrin left his bootprint in the lunar soil, an event captured in this iconic photo. The image not only represents the fulfillment of President John F. Kennedy’s 1961 promise to land a man on the moon, but it also holds significant scientific value. The imprint offered insights into the composition, texture and bearing strength of the lunar surface, which was critical for planning future missions.

One of California’s most well-known painters, Alson Skinner Clark specialized in Tonalist portraits, figure studies and Impressionist landscapes like 1924’s In the Bed of the Arroyo, Pasadena. He trained assiduously and broadly, studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Art Students League of New York and the Académie Carmen in Paris. London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art are among the notable institutions showcasing Clark’s paintings.
