Heritage Auctions moved into its new Chicago home in early December – though new is a relative term, as it’s actually a historic building.
The newly renovated, 7,000-square-foot space at 222 W. Hubbard St. was built in 1905 and once served as a printing press. The restored headquarters is surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants and home-furnishings retail establishments.
“Since opening the Heritage Auctions office in Chicago six years ago, we have outgrown our space on Ohio Street,” says Roberta Kramer, Managing Director of the Chicago office. “When we started we had about six full-time staff members and are now more than double that, with specialists in many of Heritage’s top categories.”
“We are delighted to move into a space that is large enough to accommodate many different types of events.” Roberta Kramer, Managing Director of the Chicago office
What hasn’t changed is the extensive expertise available in the Chicago office: “Our Chicago team, serving the entire Midwest region, also has deep experience with appraisal services, trusts and estates management, and advisory services,” Kramer adds. “We are delighted to move into a space that is large enough to accommodate many different types of events, and we plan for many fascinating, engaging and entertaining public events beginning in the spring of 2022.”
