U.S. Coins
The 1859-O and 1860-O are considered the most available dates in the Seated dollar series, although their mintages tell only part of the story. Both issues were stored in Mint bags at the Treasury until thousands of the two New Orleans dates were released by the Treasury. The great majority of those coins were in lower Mint State grades after enduring 100 years of handling and storage. This MS64 example with CAC endorsement is one of about three dozen pieces seen at its grade or finer by PCGS.
