European Art
The works of French painter and printmaker Michel Delacroix embody the spirit of naïve art, a genre characterized by simplicity and a sense of childlike innocence. Born in Paris in 1933, the artist is best known for his detailed and whimsical depictions of Parisian life and architecture. Delacroix’s paintings are often imbued with nostalgia, like the colorful Maison Roger, Paris, a quaint Parisian street scene that imagines the city from a time long ago.
Concert Posters
Many would agree that Woodstock was the most famous weekend in rock-and-roll history, and the poster that advertised the 1969 festival could win the nod as the most recognizable concert poster ever. This piece of Woodstock history is the music festival’s co-creator and co-producer Artie Kornfeld’s personal spec copy of the iconic red poster on which he wrote, “Let’s go with this,” giving final approval for the legendary design.

Rare Books
Tarzan of the Apes, Edgar Rice Burroughs’ greatest and most enduring literary creation, was so well received even before publication that the editor of The All-Story elected to publish the tale in its entirety (rather than serially) in the October 1912 issue. This edition marks the first in book form and the first of Burroughs’ many novels to be published in hardcover, with the author’s extensive edits and corrections from the magazine edition.
