Visitors to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame have seen a small reproduction of this circa 1923 “Certificate of Membership” signed by NFL president Joe Carr and presented to the team. But this is the real thing, the one and only original that first emerged on the hobby scene nearly a decade ago as part of Carr’s estate and that Cliff Christl, the world’s foremost Packers historian, calls “the most valuable piece of Green Bay Packers memorabilia” ever offered at auction.

Among the many iconic jerseys offered in Heritage’s Summer Platinum Night Sports Auction is this Chicago Bulls jersey Michael Jordan wore during his Last Dance in 1998, when the Bulls clenched their second three-peat title in a decade and Jordan was crowned the Finals MVP for the record sixth (and final) time. The jersey was signed by Jordan for a CharitaBulls charity event and photo-matched to the February 19, 1998, game against the Toronto Raptors.

On April 8, 1974, Hank Aaron was one home run shy of Babe Ruth’s record mark of 714. That day, in front of 53,775 at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, Hammerin’ Hank became the new champion when he made his 715th home run. These bases and home plate, which were gathered by an Atlanta Braves staffer and kept in a cardboard box until now, mark the path Aaron took on that momentous occasion when he became the greatest home run slugger in baseball history.
