But in Season 2, trouble hits the Pit via a karaoke machine Nat thinks will boost business. The gang is not impressed and threatens to boycott their beloved hangout, leading Nat to acquiesce: “Karaoke is great, but The Peach Pit is a juke joint,” he tells Brandon. “Always was, always will be.” This 1969 Wurlitzer jukebox was a fixture in the diner for all 10 seasons of the ’90s pop culture phenomenon.
