On May 19, friends and clients of Heritage Auctions gathered at Heritage’s New York City gallery to celebrate the opening of its new location at 445 Park Ave. Guests including famed comic-book writer and artist Frank Miller and Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Garry Trudeau took in the gallery’s dynamic displays, including luxury handbags, beloved movie memorabilia and Shepard Fairey’s iconic HOPE collage, which sold that afternoon for a record-breaking $735,000.
